St Mary's (also known as Isles of Scilly Airport) is a small but vital airport located on the Island of St Mary's. it is the only airlink between all of the Isles of Scilly and the UK mainland, and hosts scheduled airline services which are provided by Skybus to various nearby airfields.
As well as this, St Mary's is suitable for GA flying, and is an available landing site for coastguard helicopters.
Challenges include a relatively short runway and the chance of windshear on final approach - both of which make this a fun destination for any pilot!
