UK Helipads Pack 1

INTRODUCTION:

This package is one of the first to bundle several UK helipads into one easy download. The UK Helipads Pack is the result of months of hard work from Ally - one of our legendary developers and the king of our helipad sceneries!

LOCAITONS:

Strensham Air Support Unit:  Home to the Midlands Air Ambulance charity's most Southerly based aircraft, which covers the counties of Worcestershire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.

ICAO BS01 Nostell air support unit: Located on the grounds of Nostell Priory, near Wakefield,Yorkshire. It opened for its first mission in November 2013 and is home to one of the Yorkshire Air ambulance charity's two H145 aircraft.
 
ICAO XEG0036 Lake Heliport: Situated on the North Devon Coast, it has been operating on an owned estate for over 30 years. The pad is located 5nm South West of RMB Chivenor and 3nm West of Bideford. The site consists of a grass landing area, tarmac and concrete aprons. It caters for all Helicopters - Military, Civilian, Utility & Emergency Services. It is open for refuels 24hours a day and has full night lighting Including a NATO T approach lighting system.

ICAO XEG0037 Glasgow City Heliport: Located in Govan, Glasgow, Scotland, approximately 4 km west of the City Centre. The Heliport is currently home to the Police Scotland Air Support Unit and has capacity for five aircraft.

ICAO EGEG King's College Hospital Helipad: Opened in 2016 and gained 24/7 operational status in 2019 becoming the first Major Trauma Centre in London to be granted permission for air ambulances to land at night as well as during daylight hours. It is located in Denmark Hill, South of the River Thames ICAO BS02
